As Vice President of Finance, Vrinda Shah leads Mozilla’s financial strategy, overseeing short- and long-term financial planning, capital allocation, and investments. Her focus is to ensure the company fulfills its mission of an open and healthy internet for decades to come. Vrinda believes Mozilla plays an integral role as the entrypoint to the internet and, now, to new AI tools. She is excited to partner with business leaders to help diversify its product suite, and guide Mozilla through this new shift, ensuring the company remains at the forefront of a healthy and safe digital future. Vrinda brings 20 years of experience in maturing the finance functions at public and private high-growth technology companies and financial institutions. Prior to Mozilla, she held leadership positions as the VP of Finance at Grammarly and was the acting CFO of ThoughtSpot, where she was instrumental in guiding a path to profitability and re-accelerating growth. Before that, she led Corporate and Strategic Finance at Unity Technologies, building out processes while scaling the company to over $2B in revenue. A strategic and collaborative leader, Vrinda excels at building relationships and enhancing cross-functional teamwork to maximize value and drive growth. Based in the Bay Area with her husband and two children, Vrinda is also an avid dancer, proving that financial forecasting and fancy footwork both require a surprising amount of precision.
