Phil Richards is a UK-based global CFO and finance leader with deep experience across listed companies (including IPOs), SaaS, and gaming/iGaming high‑growth and scale‑up businesses. He works at the intersection of strategy, capital allocation, forecasting and operational discipline, helping management teams turn complex commercial realities into clear decisions and credible investor messaging, and making sure the finance function is a genuine enabler to the business. Over his career, he has been at the heart of board‑level planning, financial modelling, M&A and capital structure work, investor communications and operational optimisation, including more recently the deployment of AI across the business. Having lived and worked in Sweden, the USA and Germany, and as a fluent German speaker, he brings a genuinely international perspective and cross‑cultural operating experience. He is particularly focused on using finance as a commercial growth driver, whether that means improving cash generation, sharpening reporting, strengthening governance or supporting expansion through strategic change. Outside the numbers, Phil is an avid sports fan and player, travels extensively, and is kept busy at home as the father of three young children.
